So, we encourage our young leaders to go to an Explorer Unit so they have time to spend with people their own age and have less responibities. This also means that they get to do activities that are catered to a older age range and get to join in as when they are at explorers. They are the leader's top priority as they are the young people in this instance.

Like scout group, all explorers units have different main actitivity, like 4th are predominately greenfield camping where other prefer hiking. Some explorer unit will run the Duke of Edinburgh Awards, some are more bagde focused and some run more like a youth group.

So although, 4th East Grinstead doesn't have a dedciated Explorers Unit. Within the East Grinstead District, there are 3 units.
